Ed Clews April 2024 exhibition update
Not long now until my photography exhibition opens at Fabrication in York. The prints are in from Fresh Aire, the photo book is in from Print.Work and everything is ticking along so far OK (I think?).
The exhibition shows part of my final MA project from 2023 in which I looked at the Archbishops’ walled garden near Bishopthorpe near York. The walled garden is cared for by Brunswick Organic Nursery, a place that provides adults with learning disabilities a meaningful, work-like environment. You can read the project summary in my previous post.

If you can’t make it to the exhibition, you can buy the book here for £15 including postage (use the tiny cart icon in the bottom right). I’m also selling framed and unframed prints from photos I took throughout the year. Both the book and the online print sales will go towards supporting Brunswick Organic Nursery.
You can see the full project on this portfolio page. This will be my first publication through Biscuit Books, a self-publishing collective that came out of my Falmouth Photography MA cohort that I finished at the end of January 2024. There’ll be several more Biscuit Books coming out over the next few months and you’ll be able to pick them up at several book fairs in 2024 - dates are currently being finalised.
